Hello !  My name is Anna Cummins.  I have owned labs for over 30 years and after taking a break from breeding, to raise my family and have a career, I am returning to breeding the labs I love. 

 

I retired from teaching in 2019 and began building my breeding program again. We live on 150 acres, where my dogs get to take long walks and enjoy life.

In the early 1990's I got my first lab, Roxie and fell in love. We had a few litters of puppies with her and then decided I did not have the time or resources to devote to doing things the right way, so I took a break with the intention of returning someday.  I have owned 4 labs since - each one being better than the last.   I had my first litter in over 25 years in late 2021 and I was so excited to implement some of the new socialization techniques I learned through my Avidog course ! 

My breeding  program is special because I am a small breeder  concentrating on bettering the breed.  I do genetic and health testing - I'm not just breeding dogs!  I'm interested in producing family friends. I have the time to devote to my dogs and puppies and that is what sets me apart from the rest !

My puppies are raised using Early Neurological Stimulation.  This was developed by the Military to improve preformance in their dogs.  This early interaction from day 3 to 16 is designed to impact the nuerological system and create a smarter and more intuitive puppy.    I also use Puppy Culture to expose puppies to a variety of situations, surfaces and  people to assist them with socialization and being successfull as they transition to their life as a family pet.
